Here's something to notice -- this speaker, who makes his living as a consultant and averages over $200 an hour for his time, speaks to local audiences at greatly reduced rates. He perceives the “local audience” to be part of his obligation to make his knowledge and expertise as readily available as possible in the community where he lives.
